I’m considering replacing my smartphone with a Fairphone 6, and I saw that they only work with the T-Mobile network in the US. Does anyone know if it will work with Mint Mobile, which uses the T-Mobile network?
Here I thought Linux Mint had made a mobile Linux that runs on the FP6.
Can confirm, typing this on an fp6 on mint. My spouse uses an fp5
pretty sure mint uses tmobiles network. should be fine. i use tello, which is also on tmobiles network.
Mint is owned by T-Mobile as of last year, so you should be fine
I have a fairphone 4 and it hasn’t had any issues with the network since I first got it. Generally, any T-Mobile compatible device should work fine.
I would recommend checking their BYOD compatibility page for a more solid answer though.
If you want to verify a device you already own you can also type in the IMEI number and it will let you know immediately if it will have issues.
