I don’t know why it feels that way to you. It doesn’t feel that way to me.
Ah yes I should’ve specified I drive a diesel vehicle which accelerates as sluggishly as an 18-wheeler, even when brand new at peak performance. But left turns feel so quick & effortless.
Where is this/what side is the wheel on? Ride side vs left side would probably play a significant factor in how turns feel especially in a larger vehicle.
Try getting in the other side and having someone else do some sharp turns for comparison. If it is actually faster, there might be something wrong with your vehicle.
USA. Steering wheel on the left. Left turns feel faster & accelerate more easily.
Right side vs left side would probably play a significant factor in how turns feel especially in a larger vehicle.
Yes I think that’s what’s happening. I think it’s a physics thing. Yes it’s a large vehicle, it’s 10’ tall. That’s why I’m asking here, for some online armchair physicists to tell me what is this phenomenon I feel every time I turn left.
You speculate there might be something wrong with my vehicle, I bought the vehicle new off the lot a couple years ago from the dealership and I maintain it regularly, I’m the only one who ever drives it, it’s never been in an accident, and everything is good as new.
The something wrong would be if it actually was faster turning left vs right, I suspect that that is not what is actually happening though.
