From the sanctuary:

Meet Jared and Lila! You may recall my talking about how some bats are more social than others. Jared and Lila are in that group, but to be fair, it’s all about being hand-fed worm gogurt. Both of these stinkers self feed, but when the clinic cage doors open in the morning or at night, these 2 are first and center to get a handout.

And seriously, how can I not accommodate them? Jared will literally hang from the ceiling flapping his wings with all his might to let you know he’s there and wants a treat, while Lila will race out of the hut and onto your hand as fast as her little round tummy will let her

Our fondest wish would be to return these two to the night sky, but sadly, neither of these bats is releasable. Thanks to your support, though, we can provide them with plenty to eat and any physical or medical care they might need.
