    The tanks usually empty over the winter and get refilled over the summer. This is just creating fear to beg for subsidies or to justify raising prices.

      As I recall, they’re meant to empty this low though. Also, with Europe making itself pretty much entirely dependent on the LNG from the states, refilling the tanks is going to be a lot more costly now.

        Sure buying gas by ship from the US is very silly when a gas pipeline from Russia is still right there. eu-cool

        But if this turns into a crisis, beyond what we already had, that still on the energy executives.

      It’s absolutely incredible how quickly the west stopped talking about global warming as soon as it became clear that China will be leading the clean energy transition.
