Thousands of students will inject vibrancy and life into Perth's CBD with the opening of the new Edith Cowan University. But how will the city cope with influx of people?

    10,000 more people in the city is huge. That is so much larger than i ever imagined.

    Also, hooli dooli i didn’t realise, or i’d forgotten, WAAPA was moving with them. Having WAAPA right alongside Blue note theatre, Ledger theatre, down the road from His Majesty’s and within spitting distance of a multitude of other venues, we could end up with a very rich live theatre and music scene. Maybe in time even our own kind of Westend.

    Very exciting times for the city :)
