Recently, the top mod of r/antimeme has been announced dead by another mod. https://old.reddit.com/r/antimeme/comments/1r1id73/rest_in_peace_course/
Shortly after, users on r/antimeme2 started speculating it to be fake and the user got exposed

I happened to stumble upon that original post where the guy was announcing his supposed “girlfriend” was missing. Seemed like bullshit from the very start. The fact he had to lock comments because way too many commenters were asking questions says a lot. Just the weirdest shit.
Your links just lead me to post creation forms, not specific posts. The reddit links I mean, the ones to subs that aren’t banned.
I fixed it.
This is like the Reddit equivalent of “Clavicular got FRAME MOGGED by an LSU athlete!!”
But that’s not to say I’m not interested.
Looked into it a bit, and it was pretty wild the number of commenters who took this seriously. When the “suicide” discussion contained dialogue like:
“She is no more more.”
“NOOOOOOOOOOOO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
And the “dead” mod was playing Minecraft hours after they supposedly died.
