Old fans have played Civ games the exact same way for 2 decades now… Wait a couple years after release, usually after 1 or 2 major DLC’s and buy it at 70% off during a Steam Sale.
I am absolutely planning on playing 7 eventually, and I’ll look forward to playing 8 eventually too. But not until the time is right.
