Do possums make good pets?
“Does your dog bite?”
hmmm…

I like the “Fe-”
Fe-male aka Iron-Man
I had to find out the backstory on that.
That’s the length oh most episodes, but the opossum story is the first 8 minutes, unless I’m missing a joke…
Ohhh okay. I haven’t jumped into it yet, I was just checking the time stamps to see what I was committing too and baffled by the idea of an hour of lore lol
It’s a good show, usually 3 or 4 vaguely related segments each week.
While I got you all here, you should definitely subscribe to !opossums@lemmy.world for no reason whatsoever. Man, what a cute pupper pic.
JOIN US!!! :D
So. an HOA has moved into a new development not too far away. They’ve been trying to get everyone to join even though we’re all really not interested. And all sorts of other bullshit things. One of those things was the lady who was president of the HOA bitching about not being able to walk her little rat dog in the morning because everyone keeps letting their cats out.
(yes. there’s a feral colony that lives in the woods. they’re usually quite chill.)
One day, she was posting a video about how the cats were such a menance, and that’s why she was leaving bait traps to poison the cats- which is highly illegal.
Now the cops had something to say about that… after they were done laughing.
You see. the critter on her porch was not a cat. (and she got sprayed.)

While this is infuriating, she is right about outdoor/street cats being a menace. They are predators, and avid hunters, by letting them roam, small mammals and birds are killed in high numbers. The proper course of action would be to spay them rather than killing, of course.
This is like trying to put out a camp fire with a flame thrower.
I hope you’re talking about poisoning them, not spaying them. Both dogs and cats live longer if neutered after a few years, and diminishes zoonoses. This policy is meant for street dogs and cats, though in my country they offer this surgery for free for pet owners.
Yes.
Bait traps are poisoned bait.
She’s certainly not licensed to TNR them, either, though.
It kind of looks like Stitch is swallowing a possum tail first.
Anyone who doesn’t see this as incredibly adorable is a sad Grinchy McScrooge-a-Lot!
That’s John Oliver
Tell him he’s beautiful and I like his hoodie.
Double disguise.
I don’t know what you are talking about 👀
