Any “first world” country without universal healthcare should have been kicked out imo.

They were about to be kicked out anyway with the old diplomatic “It’s not you, it’s us” gambit.

Oh, I thought they already left. So there will be even more damage to global health programs now…

I hope that the US not paying fees to WHO will caution other lenders, and the dollar will go down soon.

It will. Hyperinflation benefits Trump, and anyone with a lot of money in hard assets like real estate. He’s been frustrated as shit because the Fed won’t lower interest rates, tarrifs cause inflation, lawsuits can lead to consumer prices increasing, everything in the tax bill.

His primary goal is to make life essentially unaffordable for everyone, except those that carry out his desires that Jim Crow supporters had wet dreams about.

The regime has no foresight into what this brings about, You can’t execute 268m people (75% of the population) very easily. You can let disease, famine, political violence do that more you.

As the population dwindles, he gives more incentives to join ICE or whatever disgusting bootlicking organization he approves of. The Heritage Foundation knows it will work, because the private Healthcare insurance experiment worked. Healthcare, food, housing, etc. will solely depend on loyalty to him and strict adherence to the Heritage Foundation’s acceptable lifestyle.

That lifestyle will be complex but we already widely know:

        1. women will have as many children as they can and take care of the home. They will encourage this through centers for unwed women to be raped by party members (probably ICE) and give birth (Nazis did this).
        2. People with disabilities will be sterilized or institutionalized where they will meet untimely death.
        3. LGBTQ+ will be persecuted, imprisoned, women will be forced to #1 above.
        4. Non-white people will be forced into concentration camps to be deported, starved to death,
        5. The part that scares me the most is this last big one we know: Men will be taught that they have two purposes, racially and ideologically pure men will be expected to impregnate women (it doesn’t matter how) and then every man will be expected and taught that their purpose is to die in war, die enforcing the regime’s will, or devote any skills/education to furthering the power of the regime.

Fascism demands an outside group that the law bonds, but does not protect and an in-group that the law protects and does not bind.

Do not believe for a second that this is “Nazification.” Our southern slave-owning neighbors started this in the 1800s, and is much more complex than what Hitler dreamed of.

The lifestyle you described is, once again, The Handmaid’s Tale.

I am sick of those idiots taking Sci-Fi books written as fiction or warnings in the worst case, and use them as fucking user manuals.

I think that, at least short-term, the harshest effects of the WHO exit will be felt outside the US. Like, big parts of Africa already feel the sudden cancellation of USAID. Though within the US, you guys also have the anti-vaxx and general anti-modern-medicine movement, that got crazy influential.

Having said that, you seem to have a much better overview of their ideology and their plans. I hope they are wrong in overestimating the feasibility of that plan.

Having said that, living outside and away from US I tend to see it as a lesser evil when the US sabotages its international strength. The dollar loosing significance would be a big one. But I might be naive. Especially if it helps/speeds up the fascist takeover.
