Not really, they’re supposed to represent the views they said they’d represent. If you disagree you should have voted for one of the other options. The real issue is that this “democracy” only gives you two valid options: right and far right.

Sure, vote for people who have the same values, but even then people can flip flop or cave to pressure.
What I’m advocating for is pressure from the citizenry to have these politicians do what we want OUTSIDE OF ELECTIONS because their duty to represent people doesn’t start and stop in an election season.
