I’d love if long term renting were more viable in Scotland (and the whole UK but it’s devolved), like long term renting is viable in Germany. However there are not enough adequate consumer protections in place for that to be the reality.
One thing I think about sometimes is that spinning up a limited company takes an afternoon and £30 so companies can avoid the stink of scandal with a quick official name change and rebrand. (This one being called “Torah Capital” after the Jewish holy book seems almost like an antisemitic joke…)
