Doubtful. Embarassment requires feeling shame, and neither the givers nor the recipient of the FIFA “Peace Prize” are capable of that.

    Growing?

I’d say that was 100% embarrassing right from the moment they did it. Never have I seen such blatant corruption on display and all those involved at Fifa should be jailed

Meh, the entire Fifa top should be jailed anyway because Fifa is corruption come to life, but here we are

Did FIFA sneak up on its (corporate decision making) self, have meetings, agree and implement a cunning plan, with structured publicity, and not tell itself until now?

There was unease within Fifa at the time of Trump receiving the award with the governing body not disclosing any details of the selection process. Now, though, that has shifted to “deep embarrassment”, according to one senior Fifa source. Multiple officials have expressed their unease of the way it was handled.

“Selection process”? Come on! Are they taking themselves a little too seriously maybe? It was farce right from the start. Most of the world had a good laugh. It’s only FIFA

If this meaningless prize broke the camel’s back …
Just wait til these managers hear what FIFA actually did and responsible for.

Professional sports is a racket anyway though right? Billionaire owners and their playboys? No thanks, not interested in their idea of sport, entertainment, and even more so, their leadership.

As my wife is fond of saying, professional sports has far too much money involved to leave the results up to the athletes.

Not always true, I’m sure, but not always far from the truth.
