Pride. Simple answer. Public image, foot hold, etc… ass holes trying to hold onto wealth they don’t deserve. Public kindness is protecting them. If they admit he’s wrong, they’re wrong, and that’s an admission of guilt. They’ll die before we experience them changing. All we can do is fight back loudly and quietly.
