Eat a test bite from each one, and throw out the ones that kill you.

This is shitty ask. You’re supposed to give an incorrect answer.

You can easily test mushrooms for poison by feeding them to a small child. Even a small amount of poison will kill them, making them a very good indicator.

Only real issue is finding replacements. PM me if you need a reliable source.

If the mushroom is still alive then it wasn’t poisoned by anyone yet! Just don’t forage dead mushrooms and you won’t have to worry about grabbing one that was poisoned.

This answer is completely acceptable, in spite of the fact you may be responding to the wrong question.

Just eat one of every mushroom that you find and eventually you’ll either build up a tolerance or learn how to taste which ones are bad.

The dose makes the poison. Slowly ramp up the dosage until it kills you, that’s when you’ll know to stop.

Grocery stores frown on foraging. They even demand you give them money in exchange for the food inside! What a rip off.

Just make sure you go to one that has a No Chase policy

oh wait I didn't see the shitty in the comm

Oh and test every aspect of the mushroom from guide books, like gills, color, how they peel, any and everything you can test. Make sure to look into all possible mimics. Bring a field guide with you, do a double check before you leave, and triple check when you’re home.
