    The U.S. attacked Venezuela in an illegal act of war. As such, Trump murdered 80 people. The kidnapping is only part of this. The rest of the world needs to stop being so chicken shit and call it what it is.

      Yeah, this is the same thing Russia did in Crimea. It was an escalation of tensions that moves the bar of intervention further. They then invaded all of Ukraine and no one stepped up to stop them (other than providing aid).

      My thoughts right now is this is the same thing. If they now invade Greenland it’ll just be seen as more of the same, and since nothing was done last time nothing should be done this time. Then Canada is next, or maybe Mexico, with a full occupation.

    When news organizations dictate which words journalists can and cannot use to describe events, that’s propaganda, not journalism.
