Ok, it looks like a heatwave is coming this week from Tuesday to Friday?
Different sources (my UV warning app and search engine preview sourced from Apple Weather) especially put Wednesday at 40C and Friday at 35C.
Is that what you guys are seeing? BOM site doesn’t seem to work properly on my phone to check this reliably but be warned I guess.
Make sure to have icy poles and drink enough, get your ice cubes started. Check on the elderly, make sure your cooling is working if you have it, keep pets inside and make sure they don’t get heat stress or burn paws on asphalt when they go on a walk.
Not great as we have a road trip planned down to Ocean Grove on Thursday. I usually won’t drive when it gets this hot, but my time off is booked, accommodation is paid for, interstate relatives are going to be on their way down shortly.
Weatherzone atm says Wednesday 39 and Thursday 35. Different apps use different models. Lots of people recommend Windy which gives you the option to apply different models for forecasts, but it’s quite a bit more expensive than paid Weatherzone.

Their old beta was wonderfully practical and loads fast. Still sorta works for now - you need to edit the url manually because the search and some locations redirect to the new monstrosity.
