How do you think the genocide in Palestine (caused by the country of Israel) would stop? Would there be a revolution? Is the genocide because of imperialism running rampant? Does socialism has the tools necessary to stop this genocide (among other things)?

By acknowledging the extreme influence of Israel inside of Western of the governments and fighting against it. And not blaming all Israel support on “Western interests and imperialism”. AIPAC and these other massive lobby groups obviously have a purpose.

Israel does not control Palestine from Israel. It controls Palestine through America and Europe. Without all the free weapons and money it would fall in a heartbeat.

The current MAGA infighting against Israel is awesome and should be supported by everyone.

Israel is a colony of the US.

It may launder its reputation by reaching into the US establishment, but its pursuits are fundamentally and undeniably aligned to the interests of US imperialist hegemony.

You say so, yet Israel’s pursuits are invariably aligned strongly to the interests of the US.

I would bet the “interests of the US” are actually interests of Zionists elites affiliated with the US. Ordinary citizens stand nothing to gain.

Your comment wreaks of antisemitic dog whistles.

Every state is controlled by elites, who have interests different from the interests of the population.

Not really. I think Israel is a money laundering scheme and am not sure if the beneficiaries are Jewish at all. Sure is convenient that the one gov nobody can criticize just so happens to be for a state full of people who endured the Holocaust. I am saying that it sounds like someone used racism as a crutch to do what they wanted, and used common people’s sympathies to manipulate everyone. I’m not antisemite, and I can’t know for sure either way. It just all seems scammy to me. I don’t care what someone believes as long as they are nice to others.

Of course through Zionism, ethnicity is invoked disingenuously, but the objective within the US political establishment is the state interests of imperialist hegemony. It is not being duped or coerced into a “money laundering scheme”.

Stop trying to redirect responsibility away from the US state interests that Israel plainly serves.

This in no way debunks the beyond obvious evidence. The US has not been acting in its own self interest in the last few years in the Middle East.

The bombing of Qatar, a US military base hosting Hamas at US demand was the cherry on top of the cake removing all doubt.

You are conflating dysfunction with selflessness.

The US acts toward its own interests, not the interests of other states whose interests are not aligned.

MAGA is an “America first” movement, so the opposition to Israel is probably a combination of it not being “America first” and Christian nationalist ideologies, so I have no idea why they would ever support Palestine instead.

I’ve seen a mix of them admiring countries enacting reactionary policies or being “orderly” (tends to be connected with religion to an extent) and dissing countries that do the opposite or for holding different religious values, but they seem to think that the US needs to have homogeneous values/demographics “like other countries do”. Israel may fall under the “holding different religious values” category in their book (depends on how MAGA they are), and Palestine does a lot more so.

Nobody has to support Palestine to say they are sick of all this crap. I have no interest in supporting them, but I want the nonsense to stop. Genocide is bad no matter who it is.

Simply letting them turn against Israel without too much pushback though do keep in mind their other values still differ immensely. But Palestine does no have the luxuries of choosing its allies.

For a far broader take on possible actions this great (very long) video recently came out https://youtu.be/bYkfmC6XFvs

Tldr organise groups for direct action protests similar to Palestine Action. Try to hit the Israeli supply chain to the West where it hurts. Either by targeting military producers or by being a massive hindrance to companies supply chains to Israel.

Also people should stop denouncing Hamas and other violent resistance against colonialism.*

Aipac is fully funded by american zionists not Israel. The usa will always be the major power who control israel not the opposite
