I was on the plane next to someone who i thought was going to be incredibly grouchy but as soon as I had to ask him something he was incredibly nice and fun to talk to.
I’ve been told I look grouchy. I’m also heavily overweight (working on getting it back to just “technically overweight”) and the male pattern baldness is starting to set in so my usual hairstyle is “just take it all off please”.
I’ve joked before that my dating life and my job interviews are the same: once we meet in person for the first time, there’s a 90% chance we’re going to see each other again. Getting there though? Heh good luck to me.

Magic is real then but it’s fire unconstrained by the wisdom necessary not to get burned. As I grew older I learned to capture the lightning and the fire. It’s not as hot, but I do not cherish the hearth for its ability to scorch me, I can still hurt myself with it plenty. But it will keep me plenty warm and it will feed me and comfort me far better than the bonfire I burned myself on as a kid.
