Healthcare? No one fucking with immigrants? Or people with melanin? Or trans people? No one to deregulate industries or cripple environmental protections? A world where the rich pay their fare share? Attainable education?

      Fucking nightmare.

I feel like the last survivors in a world overtaken by The Thing or some other colony hive-mind.

From raging about how AI will never replace whatever jobs, to now just trying to feebly call it out when I see it, as I get emails from by employer that they have a new company-wide campaign trying to get every department to find ways to use AI to boost productivity.

The next generation growing up in this mire won’t even know what the internet was like back when humans made all the content. That is a wild reality to me.

I’ll bet the version in Trump’s head is also younger, better looking, richer and has a longer schlong that Ivanka probably likes. Why else would trump feel so intimidated?

It’s crazy people still like Biden and claim that they can’t understand why maga likes trump…

Neither of them give or ever gave a fuck about their voters.

I am old enough to remember one of these two people fighting tooth and nail to provide loan relief for students, and the other working as hard as possible to prevent it. One of them raised the min wage his first month in office and increased healthcare budgets, the other spent the start of his term raising taxes on workers and taking healthcare away.

But sure, they are all the same. If you don’t count their policies nor their results.

I’m old enough to remember Biden passing a racist crime bill, and using such bloodthirsty rhetoric about Palestinians that the Israeli prime minister told him to calm down, which put him to the right of Ronald fucking Reagan on the issue of Palestine. Being not as bad as Trump in some ways doesn’t make him good. He’s just bad in a different way.

Also remember that even if you think he was fine and Kamala should have won, it was Biden’s hubris and refusal to step down from his reelection campaign that arguably made a Harris win impossible.

one of these two people fighting tooth and nail to provide loan relief for students,

I could see the argument that Biden was so inept that really was him trying that hard… I doubt that’s what you meant tho.

But to lots of people he said he’d “look into it” and then just never did it.

Meanwhile trump just fucking does shit and hope it sticks.

Which method brings about more change?

Did Biden’s plan to play by a stricter rule set than he was required to, result in trump not just doing whatever the fuck he wants? Or did that happen anyways and Biden should have done all he can as fast as he could have?

But sure, they are all the same

A peaceful death in your sleep and being torn apart by rabid chipmunks are still both death. When the other option is the horrible death, there is absolutely zero reason to pick “peaceful death” as the only other option we give voters.

Is it still the best bet?

Absolutely, but we need to convince the common American, so why don’t we make the choice for them as easy as possible?

That’s the thing, Hillary, Biden, and Kamala were shitty candidates shoved down our throats by billionaires, we don’t have to keep doing that, and we aren’t doing it anymore. We have a non iased DNC chair now, the war over the party is over, neoliberals lost.

WTF? Biden passed multiple layers of loan relief for students, and the Republicans blocked most of it with lawsuits and the rigged SCOTUS. Are we living in different realities?

            So he did it…

            But he didn’t…

Did you know someone made a song about this exact thing?

            Grandson: we did it!

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNOGN9jXGYA

            Quick edit:

The song was released when Biden took office, and was about how if everyone just stopped pushing then, Biden wouldn’t actually do anything and we’d be right back where we started.

            Literally what happened.

You are expressing the opinions that it was “good enough” and we couldn’t have pushed for more, and it led to what the song predicted.

It’s just wild the song was early and correct, and you’re after the fact but still wrong.

What reality are you living in?

Lots of fucks were given. Mostly for the children. But not the way you’d hope. And mainly by one of them.
