    The use of the white sacks and shirts to give the figures an almost angel wing-like appearance on first glance is really nice.

      I thought I was seeing Knights Templar or KKK cloaks, until your comment. And it’s from 1945. That was a journey. Amazing piece

        I thought it made them look like mountains with snow and little trees. Only upclose did I see they were people and crops.
