Just for comparisons sake, the US civil war had more Americans servicemembers killed than every other major US war, COMBINED.
And that number was nearly a quarter million LESS than the Russians have lost in Ukraine
But for further context, the USSR lost nearly 30 times this number in WW2 alone.
They got meat to spare and as long as that meat doesn’t resist, it won’t end
“that meat doesn’t resist” is a great summation of Russian history
