    • Sadly, this tagline rings all too true, even if we reduce to ‘white people’

“Why do you rich fucking white people insist on seeing every socio-political conflict through the myopic lens of your own self-actualization?”

Time to repurpose ‘the history of the Palestine-Israel conflict began on October 7th’ anytime someone says shit like this. Venezuela has been facing sanctions and other hostile acts from the US for years ever since Chavez began the revolution. Heck, even before that US imperialism had a grip on Venezuela and the Americas. The culmination of all of that being a war that just so happens to coincide with the personal matter of one of the empire’s elite does not make it a “distraction” tactic.

Demonstrates how even so-called “progressives” and liberals in the US are just the moderate wing of fascism. They’ll justify Iraq out one side of their mouth, then make excuses why Bill Gates and Prince Andrew shouldn’t be redacted by FBI handler. Their support for Isreal is another. They’ll criticisize Muslim nations over LGBTQ+ rights, while Isreal doesn’t even allow gay marriage and the US is actively trying to eliminate those rights wherever possible.

It’s in-groups and out-groups. Republicans want the in-group to be limited to wealthy cishet WASP men, while democrats think it should be limited to some places inside the US border and a few white European countries.

If I recall, even Aussie soldiers didn’t know what the deal with those US soldiers were, and some sided with Black soldiers against their white bigoted counterparts.

Edit: Aussies, if you ask me, were the ones who put the White Australia policy. So, I guess it’s difference between relatively casual racism and then competitive racism (Amerikkka)

There’s always that one western poc who goes on about white supremacy, pride for their race, and how whites are the devil and then nearly their entire dating history is white.

I would say this was the contradiction I felt before I made a commitment to never date out again, TBH

I sort of get it but not really, for some people their morals and values don’t always align with who they date. That’s on them for wasting their time or compromising, for me I’m sticking to volcel-vanguard finding people is rough enough and I don’t wanna change who I am for someone else I’m finding my own thing

Just going off my vibes rather than actual data TBH, but, truthfully, I am beginning to feel like interracial couples (mainly thinking of Black x white couples) who are truly the non-problematic kind—two people who genuinely love each other and just so happen to be of different races—are an extreme minority when it comes to interracial couples. There usually seems to be some underlying problematic dynamic, such as internalized racism, performative wokeness, and fetishism (especially with how normalized and socially acceptable fetishism is).

i’d give you actual data about how a majority of interracial couples (specifically non-white x white) experience problems such as abuse (coming from the white side specifically) but unfortunately there are many crackers here and in leftist spaces who find this kind of rhetoric too uncomfortable, opting instead to insult the messenger and proclaim to let “people love who they love” or that MLK died so that black people could date whites (i’ve witnessed both cases).

don’t get me started on how many interracial relationships in regions such as south east asia come from exploitative sexpats.

Ah, yes, the “Let people love who they love” continues to be exploited as a thought-terminating cliché in these discussions.

Unfortunately I’ve had guys who were sexually into me that were racist towards me in highschool. I didn’t know there were people who wouldn’t be racist towards me until a while after highschool, so I thought i had to put up with that shit.

I think normal, healthy individuals and couples are a rarity in general. After all, the US is in the deepest economic depression since The Great Depression. It’s unfortunate the ways capitalism mutates our relationships with everything and everyone. We’re facing stressors we shouldn’t be facing and it’s making us weird and hurt.

I worry I stereotype my own race sometimes because I have so much trauma from being bullied by people in my childhood household. I see someone of my own race and worry they’ll demand only the highest of standards out of me and my every action. There’s so much more beyond that too. Idk how to deal with it. It has me fearing people who are probably very kind. Obviously I need to be in a community where I unlearn my fears. If I found more leftist spaces with my people I bet it would really help. It really breaks my heart that I haven’t felt safe enough to date someone of my own ethnicity. Generational trauma can really shit on your perception of your own race.

If I hear another white redhead complain or say that the discrimination they face is anywhere near or on the same level as discrimination/oppression on the basis of race/ethnicity/skin color I’m gonna burst a god damn blood vessel. These bleachskins are too bold.

It’s fucking weird that anyone wants people of our race gone just because of being a race, all over some dumb race conspiracies. Sometimes this fact is in the back of my mind, sometimes it’s at the front. I woke up and this was all brand new to me for a quick few seconds, and now I’m remembering it’s a normal part of surviving American life. Real damper on the mood.

This is so damn true. The white women and white queer people I interact with oppose being oppressed rather than oppression itself.

          thank god I’m not white.

No fucking truer words spoken. As soon as it’s about the poc and god forbid the queer poc and such, especially the ones outside the western world, the hitler particles are awoken and ready to rumble. God knows despite what they might suffer at the hands of their fellow whites who happen to be cishet males is the only thing that matters but not what any poc might suffer at their whiteness. Dealing with racism and everything that comes with it fucking sucks but at least I know I’m not like those people. A-fucking-men.

I’m half and it’s honestly detrimental to your health. You get so much racism casually thrown at you from your so-called family. I have no idea why white women tolerate the sexism or queer people the queerphobia.actually I do it’s because they will eat shit if it means non-whites have to smell it🙃

Field slaves and house slaves, as Malcolm X would say. Some people love their masters more than they love themselves. Everyone else understands the need to escape.

Something that has never happened to me during this whole job hunting process just happened, and it’s so damn weird (but it’s actually positive).

A company that didn’t hire me months back had turnover, and instead of just reposting the position on job boards, they decided to email me saying:

“Our system is showing that you applied for [position] back on [date], however that requisition was closed at the time. We now have a few positions available and want to reach out and see if you were still interested in a position with our organization. If you are, please respond to this email with some days/times that you would be open for a quick phone screen.”

At first, I thought it could’ve been a scam or 🧢 but the email isn’t lying. The date it listed actually is a date I applied, and it is a legitimate position for a company that I can actually locate and read about online on their official website. I did all the usual maneuvers to check for phishing and whatnot.

This is so god damn rare for companies to do, and it’s honestly just sad how rare it is.

It shouldn’t be hard for companies to do this.

As usual, expectations are low, but at least something different happened for once, so I went ahead and replied with some times.
