Last prompts have been hard to combine

    This is a cozy drawing :)

    I’ve never caught fireflies in a jar myself, as I lived in a city well away from where fireflies could be found, and by that time insect populations were starting their decline anyway. This drawing, though, evokes a sense of nostalgia of a time when simple delights such as this were still widely accessible.

      I’ve never seen fireflies either (don’t know if they were ever common around here) but I would’ve loved to catch some in a jar as a kid, and then release them of course.
