    i think a lot of them switched over to TPUs so idk if you’re gonna get that GPU windfall you’re hoping for. not even sure if you could use TPUs for anything else without a lot of trouble, so they’ll probably just end up getting dumped in a landfill.

    edit: nm it looks like TPUs are mostly google and nvidia has been putting something similar called “Tensor Cores” in their GPUs so maybe you will get a GPU flood.

      The works of the roots of the PC, must be destroyed to keep up the price, and this is the saddest, bitterest thing of all. Carloads of GPUs dumped on the ground. The people came for miles to take the hardware, but this could not be. How would they buy GPUs at two hundred dollars apiece if they could drive out and pick them up? And men with hoses squirt kerosene on the GPUs, and they are angry at the crime, angry at the people who have come to take the hardware. A million gamers bored, needing the hardware- and kerosene sprayed over the electronic mountains.
