I literally could not eat that as it is as best I can tell from the photo. Some of us have mouths that just do not open that wide (and it makes dentist visits even less fun). Wider would be better (or smaller overall)

Ick. How would you get that thing in your mouth, might as well mush it up in a bowl. Wude and low is the way to a good burger.

How does that simultaneously look like both low and high grade food?

Those patties look like charcoal, the bun is flat and generic, but somehow the presentation looks refined and the appearance intentional. That bit of mayo being squished out the bottom adding a noteworthy splash of bright white amongst a full range of delicious colors.

The blurriness of the photo makes this whole thing even more fascinating.

Nah, you can easily sop up the yolk with the burger to get some in each bite. I much prefer runny yold almost always, especially in a sandwich like this.

I mean, I’m eating that egg one way or another. Can slop it up with some fries. I just prefer it in the burger. Gets messy otherwise.

Eggy burger is the best burger.

You’re missing the pineapple rings, and “patty” is pretty nondescript considering how much flavor comes from it.

IMO, a perfect patty is ground bison, an egg, some shredded cheddar, salt, pepper, and rosemary, all mixed and mashed together, then grilled to medium/medium-well.

You can do a lot better than “patty” :D

But do I need to do better?

You don’t need to do anything. But if you’re using frozen patties, or just some basic ground beef, you can do better.
