It’s Brinks, so it falls apart if you look at it funny. Still proud of this shitty little pick and wrench. I made them out of a busted windshield wiper and a couple metal files on my lunch break at work

    This is so cool. I just got into lockpicking and I have a ton of old windshield wipers in the garage. I should do something about that.

      Be careful of the dust. I have no idea what kind of metal it is (I assume some steel alloy) but it can’t be good to breathe in. I’d recommend doing it outside

      It is super satisfying though. At some point I want to make one, sand down the rough edges, polish it, and 3d print a handle

        Yeah, I’ve got a dust mask and a patio table to work with. I’d really like to make my own pick, too, but I’m new enough that I’m not sure what works. Maybe I’ll start with a half-diamond, since I don’t have one of those yet.

      It depends on the lock. Whatever gives the pick better clearance. For this lock I prefer BOK because the wrench helps keep the pick in position, but I’ve gotten it open both ways
