Imagine instead of not being twats, your idea is to just not have town halls cause everyone is so upset. Fucken ostrich politics.
They’ve taken the Fox approach: they’re all Dem plants/paid actors.
For those of you who don’t know about Chico California, imagine this republican decided to give a town hall in the parking lot of a Phish concert.
That county is a swing county with half rednecks and half hippies. And he gave the town hall by the university.
He chose very VERY poorly.
This dude is clearly a moron.
Or maybe he wants to be able to go back to Congress and say, “sorry guys, I can’t go on backing the fascist agenda, you’re going to wind up with a D in this seat if you don’t let me vote No”
Oh wait, Republican? Yeah, moron.
And yet he was elected…
That’s a requirement for conservatives.
My point was, the people in that town aren’t fucking voting if they’re that far left yet continuously lose to Republicans.
No, he chose that deliberately, probably in coordination with party leaders, to show that not having town halls is a good idea because liberals will just shout at them.
