Drag created a socialist utopia in Democracy 3 without all that much trouble. The trick is to start with prison reform to lower crime, and then implement policies which turn more of the population into environmentalists until there’s enough support to ban cars.

Then drag tried to make a fascist dictatorship, and it’s hard. Every policy which makes the core base happy ruins the economy! Debt, debt everywhere!
