    Guys! They’re not racist, they’re just concerned about how much metal was used to make it when it could’ve been used for prison chains. It’s just a question of practicality!

    Never heard of the statue, but why a statue of a generic black woman? Why not Rosa Parks or Katherine Johnson or Harriett Tubman or whoever?

    You don’t really see many statues of generic people.

      Or they do a faceless figure to represent many people at the same time. What throws me is the modern clothing on statues. She’s wearing a T-shirt, it just feels too casual for a statue.

    Just stamp a confederate flag on it and then watch their heads explode trying to protect while demanding it taken done.
