OK he is self charging, but 5 Energy for 50 less damage? Not sure. Will this replace Moltres ex plus old Charizard ex Decks?

On its own, it doesn’t seem that good, but not bad either. I think the question is what other cards does it have good synergy with that can make it work really well?
