This probably means she does this in relationahips too. Or maybe she’s juat a cold pragmatist, although I doubt it.

It’s a game show. The game doesn’t work if people are honest

The best tactic I saw for this is immediately declaring that you will steal, but split the money after the game is over.

If they split, you’d get the money and maybe they get half after the game. If they steal, nobody gets anything, so their best option is to go along and ‘lose’ the game by choosing to split, forfeiting the money.

This is when you reveal you chose split instead, winning for both of you.

I remember hearing that the show was canceled shortly after this. It’s such a power move. You can’t counter it.

Even if you think its a bluff, it’s too risky to test it.

My first thought: wow this game fucking sucks!

On second thought: Not a bad relationship tester actually, aside from potentially losing out on the money

In split or steal if both steal no one gets anything.

This game hinges on people being greedy.

If you both steal, nobody gets anything. If you both split, you both take half. If only one steals and the other splits, the stealer is the only one who gets money and they take it all

Do you twist the ball to change whether it’s a split or steal? I noticed her twisting the ball when he wasn’t looking.

I think she was going to open it the wrong way and turned it around.
