    Your friends know you have an executive function disorder. They will still be happier to get a response eventually. There might be some gentle ribbing, but it’ll be intended to be taken in stride.

      I didn’t know I was on the spectrum until I got diagnosed earlier this year; I’d made this comic well before then (/I’m just sharing my old comics in this community) but in hindsight there’s a few of them that make more sense to me now that I know.

        Hehe, yeah. Well, it’s not like there is a small amount of us. And that’s without including all the people that just don’t know yet. So, it still makes for popular comic material.

          Y’all, I still haven’t responded to a wedding invitation from more than a year ago. I said “no” after careful thought about travel expenses, but I wanted so much to follow up with a thoughtful response and just. Didn’t. Even though I think about it at least monthly. Last thought about it was, “well, maybe the 2nd year anniversary of the invitation is the right time to respond.” Fucking awful.
