This would be well-deserved if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s probably tax dollars that were wasted and not Musk’s profits.
SpaceX’s Starship contracts with NASA are fixed price and milestone based. So, if they blow it up, that cost is on them. Just like Boeing has had to shell out a lot of money from continuing to fail on Starliner.
Ah, some good news, at least.
I’d be pretty pissed if that grounding made me miss a connecting flight, Musky’s insurance should at least be paying for airline disruptions.
