    Very glad I have a union. Annual raises tied to the market rate for my job, and if there’s no market increase they just give me a bonus based on performance instead.

    what’s maddening is that people see this and just… don’t care…

    companies could outright say that they are exploiting us and many people would be unable to give a shit about it

      It still isn’t people’s fault. It is a systemic problem. Our brains have been shown to not comprehend certain threats and connections. We’re just not there yet that enough studies show it. Manipulative advertising needs to be outlawed immediately.
