One of Flickr’s killer features is its “faves” gallery, where everyone is able to curate, well, their faves. This not only showcases great content but also helps surface older images, ensuring a steady flow of traffic to galleries. In my case, faves from other users account for about 50% of my visitors. Would love to see something along those lines for the fediverse!

      @JokerCharlie@geekdom.social they don’t, unfortunately. More importantly, there is no global setting to display “sensitive” content, so each image has to be revealed individually, which makes it a pain to browse.

        @mateodelarioja@mastodon.social Okay, that’s good to know because I thought I was missing a setting somewhere! It was driving me nuts! Not being able to see sensitive content by default is part of the reason I don’t like it.
