Reminds me of the Michelin folks rating restaurants.

Or the Yamaha music folks making boats.

      Mega corps!

I’m British (like Cadbury’s), but I’ve never heard of a “5 star” bar. Is it what we call a “Star bar”?

I’d never heard of it either, but a web search finds a Wikipedia article, a few pictures and the implication that it’s not sold in the UK.

Also, calling Cadbury “British” these days is a bit of a stretch. Yes, they were founded here and are still headquartered here, but they’re now a multinational corporation owned by an American corporation.

And despite that American corporation being run by a Belgian, the quality has definitely gone in the American direction.

As an American, I apologize for our crappy chocolate. We do have decent brands (Ghiradelli and Sees, for example), but prime people seem to prefer crap like Hersheys.

No, it appears to be a Mars bar clone. However the nouget is dark in photos, so it could be a chocolate flavour.

In India, 5 star has been around forever and was like a cheaper alternative to a Mars bar. They’ve also been known to do humorous advertising for 5 star over the years.
