You can’t take other pieces when moving from a green square. On this board only the black and yellow squares are live - the green squares are out of play. Useful to rest and feed the horses if you can get to them.

Don’t be silly, basically you can get off the horsey and go around the obstacle, but the this doesn’t work for eg a pawn cause what are you going to do, split in two?
While is this technically possible, it takes too much time (about 2-3 turns depending on the size and fitness of the horsey).

Play on an offline physical chessboard and the game will let you do anything you want.
