Yup. The media is framing this as antisemitism, but it’s not, it’s anti-shitheadism. It’s in this article, but they’ve buried it:

Amsterdam’s police chief said that Maccabi supporters set a Palestinian flag on fire and attacked a taxi a day before the match was set to take place.

Ahead of the game, a Palestinian flag was ripped off a building in the city centre and riot police blocked pro-Palestinian supporters from marching toward the stadium, according to Dutch broadcaster NOS.

      Yeah, that’s what started it.

We’re the same people that attacked the taxi and the flag the same people who were attacked? If they were the same people, it’s anti dickehead behaviour. If it’s other supporters, connected only by their nationality, then calling it antisemitism is not a stretch.

The victim mentality is just in your head. Others just see an asshole who is burning down your flag and abusing you with death threats.

You pretend as if your nationality is visible to people like a banner… but it’s not. It’s just your behavior.

When you behave like an asshole and indulge in violence and spew hatred you expect people to respect your origin?

              Edit:

Also: you should look at yourself in the mirror. These so called football fans were saying “Fuck Arabs”. You’re a hypocrite if you think this is ok, but then shomehow think Jews are targeted for being jews but not the threatening of Arabs and burning of flags.

Every day, the pro-israeli right proves that it has fallen for anti-Palestinan propaganda. You have an excuse now for committing violence against any Palestinian or Arabs that you want.

Sorry, but the news text read as if this was retaliation for acts which happened a day before. You are telling me instead, they were attacked while chanting and ripping flags, which would make this a different story but still an act of violence.

Edit: could we just stop this whole bullshit and act decent to other sentient beings?

I don’t see people calling for decency when it’s brown people on the receiving end. I only see people calling for decency when people call out/fight back against the agressors.

On the ground reporting from Dutch young journalist Bender: https://youtu.be/ySHIOYyJ95A
Turn on English closed captions. See for yourself what happened and how these hooligans came to our town to riot. This has nothing to do with antisemitism, and everything to do with racist football hooligans supporting Israels actions in Gaza
