This is my jam. I’ll be exhausted but there’s so much going on, it’s insane. They’re 1 day events, and having a beer with the other players afterwards is where loads more stories come out. I’ve done serious crisis simulation, whimsical fantasy games, historical games, war games, and all kinds of games in between. It’s not surprising that antisemites would also protest Israel, but that doesn’t mean we should stop protesting Israel. There’s nothing more to it. We should not fall for our opponent’s tricks trying to paint us as antisemites

True, but let’s make extra clear that Palestinian resistance is completely different than typical western anti immigrant sentiment. There have been Jews, Christians and Muslims living there for centuries. The problem is not that Jews live there or even that many of them moved there at once. It’s that Israelis set up their own government where native population literally have fewer rights

You mean reputation systems for filtering out low quality submissions? That’s why they exist. Spam filters, reddit, stack overflow, Lemmy, whatever. And people say “what about newcomers who start with no reputation” but it always seems to work out somehow.

My point was that “was this made by AI” is the wrong question. Not everything made using AI is dogshit, nor is everything made by real people always good. And you won’t always be able to tell the difference at all. Rather, let’s focus on the spam problem

Now I know founding Israel was a mistake. Explicitly saying it’s a Jewish state will inevitably lead to other groups being suppressed, i.e. Apartheid if not outright genocide. And they are not hated in the region because Muslims and Jews cannot get along, but because Israel was built entirely on stolen land, and they are still in the process of stealing more and genocide those who stand in their way
