If I’m reading the fine print correctly this is looking at mixed gender marriages currently cohabitating in the given year, not weddings.
I wonder what the average age difference at time of wedding is? Thats going to be a different number than this which will have 40 year long marriages contributing to the 2022 figure.
I guess longer lived marriages be overrepresented because they contribute to the average for more years.
