The ICJ’s authoritative ruling on the Israeli occupation makes clear that boycotts, divestment, and sanctions against Israeli occupation, colonization, and apartheid are not only a moral imperative but also a legal obligation.

The states in purple are in violation of international law

The ICJ should issue arrest warrants for their governors. That would be nearly every Governor in this country, but I want to point out some notable ones it would really make me happy to see get arrested for this: Ron DeSantis, Greg Abbott, Brian Kemp, Gavin Newsome, Kathy Hochul, Tim Walz, and Andy Beshear.

What is this map showing? What bill passing does “passed” refer to?

How did Virginia defy AIPAC when it is ground zero for MIC ghouls?

I’m curious too. I wonder if the weirdo free speech warriors came out against it or something like that?

Just throwing one out there on no basis or research: They all gotta live next to these people and therefore detest whatever they’re selling

I’ll be honest I personally appreciate this decision because in the decidedly non-zero chance I one day get fired because of one of those anti-BDS laws it’ll be nice to cite this in court

Is the ICJ able to get rid of any of these? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-BDS_laws

Unfortunately this ruling is non-binding, meaning it can’t be enforced, but it lends strong argument when things need to be argued in eg bourgeois courts and governments. And the international law this ruling is based on is binding and enforceable. So the ruling could make it easier to overturn the anti-BDS laws but doesnt automatically do so

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --
