    Telegram is free to censor whoever they want.

    If you don’t like it, host your own messaging service. If you use specifically Telegram expecting total freedom and privacy, you are gullible or ignorant.

      Sure, but people should know they are being monitored by the Saudis, and Telegram should not be used for anything sensitive. They pretend to be a secure privacy respecting platform, but they are practicing mass surveillance and censorship.

        I just realized that this instance doesnt show downvotes seperately… Probably not the best idea to have privacy guides on an instance where you cant easily see if something may be wrong…

      Quick check of the post history shows nothing but vitriol and unrealistically black and white thinking. Classic signs of depression.

    Telegram’s that kid in school that often says “hey you can tell me anything, c’mon trust me with your secret”. An hour later, everyone knows it.
