Renegade engineer ignores failson CEO to create a revolutionary technology by himself using the material everyone else had given up on. Company fucks him. He leaves the country and now has his own lab making the next generation of LEDs. It didn’t feel like it was padding its runtime at all, there’s just a lot to the story.
Yeah, I had no idea about any of this. Dude makes the company billions of dollars and gets crumbs. I thought that would resonate with folks here as a backdrop to some cool engineering
It’s a good one.
Great watch, for me the parts about him hacking away (literally) at his metal vapor machine also captured the DIY ethos I really respect and try to cultivate in my own life.
