Reposting is like Einstein’s ideas and perspectives of time … it’s all relative.
When you see a meme for the first time, it’s not a repost, it’s something entirely new to you … but to someone who saw the content a long time ago, they may have seen it a hundred times.
As soon as you see it, others will come after you to see it for the first time … to them it is new … to you, you just saw it a second time, a third time, a hundred times, it is now a repost
Just like time in the universe … time moves at a certain rate here but between you and me, we both see it at slightly very tiny differences we would never notice … but jump to a different planet, nearer or further from a star, a neutron star or a black hole and time is a completely different thing for everyone
Reposting is the internet equivalent of relativity
For me its how quickly people reply to a comment. It used to take hours and now there’s a reply in seconds
It’s amazing dude. I actually engaged in fast paced arguments. I lost a lot cus I ain’t that smart but it was fun for both parties

Isn’t that what a meme is, though? Like, you might change the caption, but a meme is only a meme after it’s been shared more than once.

That said, I hate reposts…but I’m not gonna neg or police anyone for it. I do wish we had a decent system for taming it though. Reddit reposts were out of control.
