He said local hospitals instead would be responsible for the service, which involved collecting evidence that was vital for the prosecution of sexual assault crimes, as Nola.com reported.

    I can’t imagine why an accused sexual predator would do such a thing?

    Also, he perceived a death threat when he found a body bag at a coroner’s office? Not the brightest or not truthful. Flip a coin. I bet it lands standing up on its edge.

      I feel like it’s a good thing to not have an admitted child molester in charge of overseeing a program serving victims of sexual assault. Losing the program in the first place is shitty, though.

          Second of all, yes, because this is an elected position for which he ran unopposed, and a basic requirement of the job is that you win that election. Since nobody else won that election, nobody else could do the job. That‘s why they’re struggling to replace him.

          I’m guessing you didn’t read the article because they discuss that in depth.
