Please bare with me if this is a really noob question. Still finding my feet here.
Im using the connect app and created my account on the propiracy lemmy instance. However, as I’m learning about other instances, I was interested in creating a different account on a nsfw instance. Don’t shame me! When I go into settings, I have no ability to manually change the instance, there are 3 other prepoulated instances that I can tap and the instance field will change. Those aren’t the instances I’m looking for.
Wondering if what I am trying to do is even an option. Can we have multiple profiles within the connect app that reference different instances?

You can add multiple accounts, but you can only be logged into one at a time
Thanks, I was trying to look for how to do it in settings.
Realized my mistake, and I should have been selecting the menu beside my actual profile name at the top. Then add a new account (after setting it up first directly on the other instance’s site) then adding that info to the new account.
Amazing how motivating some nsfw content can be. Lol
