Hmm. I believe because my screenshot is from the parent instance of the community, it’s considered the source of truth. There’s likely some sort of misconfiguration with your instance.
You definitely need to have someone subscribed on a given instance to kick off federation, I just didn’t know if you needed to stay subscribed. Solid “probably”.
You’re saying I should I register an account on .ml and subscribe, then? To fix the misconfiguration?
That would make it federate properly yeah, but you’d need to do that on every instance that doesn’t already have local subscribers if you want the comm to federate everywhere that sdf does.
That seems like a lot of work. I’m so sorry this has happened to us.
