Because the planet and most of its inhabitants did nothing to deserve this? Because most of the 8 billion humans have done nothing to deserve this? Because humans and humanity are capable of changing for the better? Because I don’t want to live on a capitalist planet? Also…we were talking about society, not the world at large, because this all started over the results of a survey of people, right? So you can’t really use the results of this survey to extrapolate that humanity is beyond saving.
