The No Kings Act (S.4973) is a piece of federal legislation introduced by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on August 1, 2024, to counter the Supreme Court’s July 2024 ruling in Trump v. United States which granted former presidents broad immunity for official acts.
