UPDATED – Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin was on a plane that crashed in western Russia killing all on board, according to the country’s aviation authority

His name was on the list of those “declared as travelling on board” the plane, along with key Wagner commander Dmitry Utkin

The Russian Emergencies Ministry has said that private aircraft "came down” near the village of Kuzhenkino

    Had to know it would happen sooner rather than later.

    I’m just surprised the plane was shot down in Russian airspace. Putin’s not even trying to hide his assinations anymore.

      I’m surprised it took this long, I thought he’d be dead within a week of his failed coup. Assuming, of course, that he was even really on board.

        I was kinda’ surprised he made it out of Russia at all after that. Putin really did look weak vs his regular MO.

        This assassination wasn’t revenge, it was a threat, to anyone else that might be thinking about a coup.
